How Pricing, Charts & Payments Work
Product prices on Amergold.com are based on the live spot prices of gold, silver, platinum, and palladium plus a clearly disclosed premium for each item. As market prices move throughout the day, the product prices on our site may update to reflect those changes.
Like many major dealers, AGE tracks live spot prices and market trends to price products appropriately. You can use spot data and charts as a reference when reviewing product pricing on Amergold.com, and our representatives can explain how current market conditions may affect different products.
Premiums depend on mint or refiner, product type, size, brand recognition, and overall demand. Popular government‑minted coins may have higher premiums but are also extremely liquid, while larger bars often have lower premiums per ounce but may be less flexible when selling.
Your price is locked in when you complete checkout on Amergold.com or when an AGE representative confirms your order by phone. After your price is locked, normal market fluctuations do not change the price for that specific order, as long as you meet the payment timelines in our order policy.
If you wait between viewing a product and going to checkout, the market may have moved. When you add items to your cart or refresh the page, prices may update to reflect the current market and premiums.
Your final total may include shipping and insurance charges and any applicable sales tax, depending on where your order ships and what you’re buying. We will show you a full out‑the‑door total before you are committed.
AGE may set reasonable minimums for very small orders and special procedures or limits for large transactions, to manage costs and ensure security. If you have a specific budget or order size in mind, ask us and we will explain how it fits within our guidelines.
AGE accepts common industry payment methods such as bank wire transfers, checks or cashier’s checks, ACH (where available), and, for certain order sizes, credit or debit cards. Payment options, limits, and any discounts or surcharges will be clearly explained before you finalize your order.
Many dealers offer preferred pricing or “cash” discounts for bank wires, checks, or ACH payments because they carry lower costs and risk than credit cards. AGE may use similar incentives and will explain any such differences for your specific order so you can choose the best method for you.
To maintain your locked‑in price, payment usually must be initiated promptly—often the same or next business day for wires and within a specified time frame for checks. Your order confirmation will spell out exact deadlines and instructions.
Clearing times depend on the payment method:
- Bank wires typically clear quickly once received.
- Checks may require several business days for verification.
- Card payments are normally authorized immediately but may still be subject to review.
Your order moves to shipping after your payment has cleared our bank and any required reviews are complete.
If payment is not received within the time allowed by our order policy, your order may be canceled and cancellation or market‑loss fees may apply. If something unexpected happens, contact us as soon as possible so we can discuss your situation.
